Many thousands of users were unable to access the service.

Platform X today, merely 48 hours afterwards.
Another huge downtime for the website.
Down Detector, a site that tracks online disruptions, got more than 11,000 complaints about issues beginning around noon.
Whenever we attempted to log in, we managed to access the site and view past notifications, yet we were unable to fetch fresh updates on the timeline. In place of these new posts, a message appeared stating: ‘Something went wrong. Please reload.’
Issues were flagged across the UK, with fewer reports coming from the US as well; however, the website appears to be operational again now.
The internet monitoring group Netblocks verified the disruption, stating that the website ‘has again been facing global connectivity issues for certain users, marking the second occurrence within a week.’
They mentioned further that the event had no connection with nationwide internet outages or censorship.

Previously called Twitter, X underwent a renaming orchestrated by Elon Musk when he acquired the social platform for $44 billion in 2022, rebranding it as the ‘all-in-one app’.
The disruption occurred coincidentally two days back when the website started malfunctioning right after the world’s wealthiest man, Musk, shared a snippet stating, “I’m a technologist. My focus is building rockets and cars. The true pleasure for me comes from watching individuals appreciate the offerings of my enterprises.”
Customers were not satisfied with the service problems, as evidenced by a comment posted on DownDetector today: “X – The Nothing App.”
Someone else commented: ‘Twitter was unavailable for much of yesterday and is down once more today. What’s happening?’
Yet another one departed chuckling with emojis and mentioned, “They are working on improvements for x; they assured us not to worry as it’ll return.”
