New Delhi [India], May 17 (ANI): It is widely known that Hollywood actor Tom Cruise holds a deep affection for India and its inhabitants. On numerous occasions, he has conveyed his admiration for Indian culture as well as its film industry.
While promoting his latest film ‘Mission:Impossible – The Final Reckoning,’ Cruise delivered a special message in Hindi specifically for the Indian audience.
In a promotional clip put out by Paramount Pictures India, Cruise was heard saying in Hindi, “Main aap sab se bahut pyaar karta hoon. Mujpe bharosa karo, ek akhri baar (I have immense love for all of you. Have faith in me one final time).”
He similarly remembered one of his previous trips to Mumbai.
“I feel so much love for India. I have to say the whole experience has been etched in my memory. Every single moment. From the moment I landed, going to the Taj Mahal, and spending time in Mumbai, I remember each moment quite vividly,” he added.
Cruise Further also mentioned that he has a fondness for Bollywood movies.
“I really enjoy scenes where a character spontaneously starts singing. It’s delightful; this is something I’ve always appreciated since my childhood—watching musicals from various nations. I’m particularly fond of Bollywood cinema. In these films, characters often burst into song, which is truly wonderful. The dancing, singing, and acting are all captivating. This ability of the performers to excel at both singing and dancing along with their regular acting roles makes for an incredibly distinctive and skillful experience,” he shared.
Cruise’s “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” had its premiere in India on May 17 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions, six days earlier than its release in the United States. (ANI)
