Three New Hotels Poised to Open in Jakarta by Year-End – International Edition

Two of these establishments will be 4-star hotels, with the third being a 5-star hotel.

According to a report from Colliers, Jakarta saw the addition of a new 4-star hotel in the first quarter of 2025. This brought the city’s overall room count up to 47,640, which includes 13,727 rooms at 3-star hotels, 18,667 rooms at 4-star hotels, and 15,246 rooms at 5-star establishments.

It is anticipated that by the close of 2025, three more establishments will debut: two 4-star hotels and one 5-star hotel.

Here’s more from Colliers:

Despite maintaining considerable market presence, global brands face stiff competition from local players. Notably, the Artotel Group has adopted an ambitious expansion plan following the pandemic, successfully acquiring Dafam, Kyriad, and Milestone Pacific Hotel Group (MPHG) by 2025. As a result, Artotel currently oversees at least 12 properties spanning Jakarta’s three-to-five star hotel sector.

Following closely are the Ashley Hotel Group and Archipelago International, both managing at least eight establishments within identical star categories.
