This new perk has been incorporated into every level of their travel packages.
Singlife
has added a feature covering injuries from turbulence, extending its range of travel insurance products with an optional one-time payment of up to $780 (S$1,000) for such incidents during flights.
This new advantage is now part of every level of their travel packages—Travel Lite, Travel Plus, and Travel Prestige—with no extra charge.
With this new addition, individuals who get hurt due to airplane turbulence while insured under the policy will be eligible for predetermined hospital income benefits between $390 (SGD 500) and $780 (SGD 1,000), varying according to their chosen plan.
The top level, known as Travel Prestige, also provides coverage for stays in ICUs abroad.
This enhancement is part of wider improvements to Singlife’s travel insurance offerings, which now include optional protection for pre-existing ailments, compensation for rain-related disruptions up to $117 (S$150), and unrestricted international medical cover for holders of the Travel Prestige plan.
The insurance provider also covers costs associated with canceled trips, forfeited loyalty points, and emergencies related to pregnancy.
