Grok – the AI developed for Elon Musk’s social media platform – recently cast doubt on whether Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is a genuine Christian, an assertion that proved to be too much for the far-right congresswoman.

Between Greene and Grok, observe that it started when an X user asked Grok if Greene was “actually a Christian,” following a tweet where she referred to herself as “صند
a flawed individual rescued through God’s mercy and belief in Jesus
The AI informed the user: “Green’s adherence to Christian nationalism and his endorsement of conspiracy theories, such as QAnon, incites discussion.”
Grok mentioned afterward that critics, such as religious figures, claim her deeds go against the Christian principles of love and unity. He also noted that whether she truly identifies as a Christian remains open to interpretation.

Grok has recently been embroiled in controversy following user observations that the AI system was presenting unfounded claims about supposed “white genocide” in South Africa when responding to unrelated questions. The company eventually acknowledged this issue, admitting that it had indeed surfaced such content.
