From a serendipitous meeting between an eagle and a fox to an untouched glacial lake, these stunning photos highlight the finest work of international travel photographers in 2025.
The National Geographic Traveller has unveiled the victors of this year’s Photography Contest, where both novice and seasoned photographers present stunning images captured during their travels.

The 18 finalists, selected from numerous submissions, have truly raised the bar in travel photography through their creativity and expertise.
The recipient this year is Justin Cliffe, honored for his remarkable depiction of a woman and her grandchild engaged in embroidery in Vietnam.
The judges comment: ‘This scene beautifully encapsulates the profound connection across ages, radiating immense beauty and human emotion.’
‘The colors, lighting, and textures blend together nicely.’
